Ancient Faction not working?
I start with the sealed vault scenario, isolationist, and the ancient story teller, but every time I get to a new vault from hacking the transmission device in the starter base, I do not receive any new pawns in the second vault, even though I have seen people have the pawns join them immediately. After further venturing into the vault, there are unopened sarcophagus, but when I open them they have ancient pawns with blue text names and then the pawns exit the area as soon as possible. Does this happen to anyone else? I have been running the game on 1.4 and had biotech and royalty turned on but I disabled them and there was no change, I also tried un-subscribing and re-subscribing to all my mods. Including, harmony, Vanilla Ancients, and Vanilla framework.

I also have the same issue. Tried loading a new vault with just VFE Ancients, the requirements and the DLC patches but still the same issue.

From what i have seen. tough this might be an unknow mod conflict the faction the anceints are asigned too might have some problems since for me an non vault start i dont get shot at when i go to the vaults and they just walk out instead of atacking em

i am having the same problem. Even tried to disable all mods except this one (and the needed ones for this one ofc)

yet most of the times the ones in the cryptopods almost never join. (i use isolationist).

Same story. Tried to run with only this mod and required. No changes, still the same bug.

Have you tried manually adding ancient faction in framework settings?

I havent tried raiding another vault yet since checking this, but Izumi, I've been having the same problems as everyone else and sure enough, the ancients faction had somehow not been added to my world yet, I think you might have solved it, I'll put another post up soon confirming or denying

Ok Yeah, I can now confirm that the slingshot works again and sealed vaults are guarded, if anyone else is having issues with these check framework settings to see if The Ancient Faction is actually added to your world

It was indeed not added in my game, but adding it did, unfortunately, nothing. At least not with the vault I cheat spawned in to test.
Was still empty, and the defense systems didn't recognize me as a threat.

Edit: update: it worked a few vaults later, however that lone vault soldier who used to defend the vault still doesn't spawn.
