Tamed Pokémon need to have their happiness raised to a certain amount before they start breeding.

One option I discovered is to get a female pokemon and perform an operation to artificially impregnate her. It fertilizes the egg and apparently means you don't need a male of the species. But keep in mind that the operation requires some kind of medicine, and preferably a pawn with high medical skills.

How do you raise their happiness? Anything specific to focus on to help boost it?

Is there a way to check their happiness? I assume it's the flavor text that says if they are trusting or looking mean. Trying to create a burmy farm :)

If you have character editor mod you can see the translation of the flavor text into an 'average/whatever' score but it's not enumerated which is a little annoying. For instance 'S/he's quite cute' is just 'average'.
