However, I see what you mean with wanting to have some more diversity or scratches and such, which I generally agree with. But this is the factory new version depicted (as you noticed), and I wanted to include that in there for those that wanted that, cus there will be other, more scratched versions, in-game anyhow for those that like that better!
(Also because you're supposed to make a clean texture, since scratches and dirt is added by the game itself). I hope that helps shed some light on my decisions, and I appreciate you took your time to comment and take an interest in my stuff :)
Edit (rephrased some stuff) extra info: I chose to not add any texture that would make some of the parts look more like a carbon fiber or plastic, because I wanted it to have this to look more "ordinary" (within the theme) and not so "specialized" in a way. The AK is a heavy gun in the game, and I wanted this gun to feel the same. Like a heavy, mass produced weapon for the soldiers of this alternate dystopian universe. That's at least my thinking behind it!
