Game crashing after monthly tick
I'm playing as Rome, I've reached the year 1470 and the game started randomly closing down after the monthly ticks. I've tried disabling all unit dlcs, removing all mods apart from MEIOU, changing the game version to 1.30.5 and back to 1.30.6, uninstalling and reinstalling both the game and the mod. I loaded earlier saves from a couple of years back, but nothing works. The game just closes down and I get the message window to send a report to Paradox.
Any idea why this is happening and is there a chance to save the campaign, or is it permanently borked?

I'm having the same problem. Never had issues before. tried cleaning the save etc.

Did you start the save before Alpha 8 released? It will make your old saves unusable.

If not, sorry for the useless reply.

I'm playing Rome too. Started a grand campaign. Every month the game freezes up for several seconds. I basically have to wait 8 seconds for every 45 seconds of gameplay. Playing on 1.30.6. It crashed completely once.

For me its a new save, and also Rome.

Can't really answer that. I think I dowloaded the mod from the Workshop 2 to 3 weeks ago, but I don't really pay attention when Steam updates stuff. It might have updated without me realising it.
Right now I'm kinda bumped about the save, so I don't really want to play EU4, but when I get back in the mood, I'll try a new campaign to see if the problem persists.
