Here is a lengthy process that may or may not help you:

- Ensure you are on 1.30.6
- Try launching with no DLC except for Mandate of Heaven, Cossacks, Cradle of Civilization, and Art of War. This includes unit packs, song packs, etc. Do not use any mods except for 3.0, even graphical
- Verify your game files on Steam
- Go to your Documents folder, Paradox Interactive, Europa Universalis, then save the contents of this folder if you care about them. If not, delete them. Not the folder itself, the **contents**.
- Start the game in vanilla, then try launching M&T again. If this fails:
- Go to your Eu4 game folder within Steam and again delete the **contents** of this folder, reinstall it, launch in vanilla, then launch M&T

I had the same issue but fixed it. For those with crashes on 1.30.6, use all the mods in the collection, which can be found at just below the "subscribe" button. Should be 5 mods in total, see if it works.

Then don't use the mod. You realize how much effort is put into it? I'm not saying bad quality is excused, but surely this mod is not a low quality one and they can't be held accountable for issues on paradox' side or your setup.
