You have to enable console, if I remember good it's in Keyboard Options when you see "Advanced", but I wasn't playing Garry's Mod for some time and I don't remember good.
Then you have to type in console something like "bind h "bt_toggle"" (without the first and the last quote, there where's "h" you type the button you want to bind).
If you want to unbind a button you gotta type "unbind <your button>".
First - make sure you have enabled console.
"How to check it?" - you ask.
If you aren't an idiot, then you f☺ckin' now! Go into options, choose keyboard. Then, go into "Advanced" and tick the box next to the "Enable Developer Console".
Second - Open the console using the key you binded to it in Keyboard Options (default - ~) There you write:
"bind <key> <command>"
Where is <key>, there you have to write a name of button that the command will be binded to.
Where is <command>, there you have to type command (in a quote).
Examples:
bind h "bt_toggle"
bind j "act dance"
bind p "kill"
bind n "+sharpeye_focus"
If you understanded it - CONGRATULATIONS! You aren't total idiot, aaaaannnd... You know how to bind keys to commands! Great job!
Same xD
