Update 3.0 Rebooted
Hello everyone! First off, I want to thank you all for the many years of support and allowing this mod to have the staying power it's had for years now. It is incredible to see, even after I had to cancel what was originally going to be the last major update to it before irl matters got in the way. Secondly, Update 3.0 is being picked back up again to better support Rep+ and re-balance aspects of the mod to further improve the green mode experience and make changes the community has been suggesting since the beginning. I can't promise that some of the features I teased for the original 3.0 will make it in this coming update (I haven't touched Isaac modding since late 2022 or early 2023, so I am very rusty and need to scale back the scope of the update), but here is the current list of changes:

- Better support for Rep+
- Reimplentation of troll bomb waves, replacing the fly bomb waves that replaced them (migraine waves will stay)
- New waves (at least 10 per floor)
- Special room tweaks and rebalancing
- Secret rooms are even more worth seeking out
- More layouts for starting rooms (at least 3 per floor)
- Shop floor is better balanced (still difficult, but a lot more fair)
- A now problematic easter egg has been removed (was something I implemented to show appreciation for someone that turned out to be an awful person)
- Minor item pool tweaks to make them more consistent with the main game's
- Final floor improvements

Admittedly my interest in doing more with this mod has been long gone, so chances are, this will still be the final update, but I do intend on continuing to provide support for it so the mod is still usable with future versions of the base game. Alongside the release of 3.0, I'm also going to allow other modders to create content for this mod as this wish, either in the form of separate mods or features that'll be directly implemented into GMIR as mini updates. Isaac has always been a community driven game, so with how popular this mod has gotten over the years, I'd love for it to be as well, even if I no longer add any content to it myself.

Happy greeding! - Skollie
