Generator recipe does not work at all in build 41 single player and multiplayer.

I just tried this, and it works just fine. Not really sure if you have a mod conflict, but I spawned with a generator and was immediately able to connect the generator to the house with this trait and only this mod.

I just tried again with no other mods. Are you on build41multiplayer? and do you spawn with a generator or am i supposed to have a recipe? the mod says it adds a generator recipe.

You get the "How To Use Generators" recipe for free.

sorry, I thought you meant I got to build a generator. Also I can find no such recipe or generator spawn.

It allows you to connect a generator to a house/building. It is a recipe in the base game, you don't start with a generator in your inventory. I simply spawned a generator using a cheat menu and verified I could connect the generator using the drop down option when right-clicking on the generator.
