I was playing France, after Veygand died the other guy took over but I didn't get any events about resistance. The focus tree is also locked and didn't automatically change to the new one.

Is this where you had Weygand assassinated, but then restored order after Doriot (the fascist path) was stopped? I believe you need Waygand to survive the assassination to start the resistance events.

If it just says cabinet crisis, this is a problem i noticed with the old focus tree, its supposed to access Nogues focus tree.

You can get the resistance events i should add if Weygand is assassinated, however in response to the rioting don't choose the option "put them down!" and the revolution should begin.

edit:turns out it was because of the new europe submod , turning it off will solve the issue

It doesnt happen straight away. there is a extra focus you need to complete in the french revolution tree. Once you finish it, the new focus tree is activated.

Goody ive added a screenshot showing the focus you need to finish. If its still unclear i can make a video, i guess some people may not be aware you need to access the new tree via the old focus tree for france first.
