Most likely, your friend walked across the walkway, saw the lower level door close in front of him, then heard the crying noises coming from the door behind him. Which is fair enough, because that ♥♥♥♥'s scary.

When crossing the bridge above the generator down the hall by the bottom elevator there's a room to the right and there will be a plain locked door with crying and If you try no clipping into the room you'll get killed even in godmode.


Pretty spooky I get why your friend left but It's not to the point where I leave the game.
