The slides can be lured to move towards the middle, the room is actually pretty easy, just get close to the laser and they move to the middle

if the coils are in the middle of the room, room rewards have to be bombed out if you dont want to take damage

at some point the coil connected a laser to Isaac, i think it might have been when the room cleared but i don't really remember

it is possible that it was on room clear of some familiar, do you know what items you had?

unfortunately i couldn't get a screenshot but i had an issue where i was playing as the forgotten and the coils connected to isaac which made the room basically guaranteed damage.

i think what might have happened was i used the sun card and it ended up killing the spikeys in the room that were travelling around the edges causing the coils to arc instead, but i'm not sure as i used the card outside the room. just wanted to let you know

I encountered a little bug with room rewards and coils, whenever a coil is in the middle of a room, and such room drops a reward, it will spawn inside the coil, there´s a liiitle frame in which you can grab the drop without touching the coil, but it´s such a small margin that is too risky

Pickups always spawn on top of the coils if they're in the middle of the room. Can you make the coils have the same flag as indestructable steel rocks or something so pickups don't spawn on them?

consumables shouldn't be able to spawn on coils that would be a good fix!
