No longer supporting main R.O.S [RNG] (BETA)
The mod is no longer going to require "random object spawner" and instead is gonna use an alternative version in order to prevent bugs and issues with any new updates coming in with the original version of the mod ; so i recommend anyone to keep this mind ; ill keep updating t.a.c.m BUT just having the ARCHIVED version in mind which is far more stable IMO.

so if we have the one that keeps getting updated tacm wont work or? asking to know if tacm will still work with that but with limited support or something like that or it just wont work?

atm both versions share the same stuff and functions; however YES I will no longer be supporting the new updates of random object spawner and instead am gonna use only the [archived] version for the next reasons:

-Having to playtest the maps each time there is a new update with R.O.S is not ideal.
-causing false bug reports to the original random object spawner page because of my lack of time to playtest tacm each time there is an update is becoming really annoying.
-I think the mod is pretty complete and to be fair on this i prefer saving a backup of the mod before it becomes more heavier to handle other scripts/plugins.
-I dont want to limit what MANACAT can do with R.O.S for the sake of keeping compatibility with tacm which i think would be absurd and a terrible idea IMO.

tacm is probably gonna work for a while with the main version of R.O.S still , but like i said am ending the support with the main mod.

arguably the best thing that could be done now is to grab latest version of ROS and maintain that as a more recent archive, update TACM to work with said more up to date archive, still avoiding updates to cause issue but still have some of the more recent changes like the gasoline barricade in No Mercy

1) archived version was made in order to have a backup of the mod that is far more stable with other plugins and mods than the current updated version which IMO has a LOT of bugs.

2) having to update many of the files in this mod takes a lot of time and you want ME to playtest each change and RNG spawn location alone (My playtesters friends are no longer even touching l4d2 anymore so yeah it is rough recommendation my guy)

3) Im currently taking a LONG break from the game in general untill some major hotfix patch arrives because am done with the performance issues on the l4d1 infected models , is not okay that a high end setup still lags to hell when playing l4d1 maps and makes actually playtesting such a chore.

4) DDos issues are still a thing and the fact thats cheaters are even on campaign mode to test their hack tools its insane and am done with it ; some clow actually managed to Ddos my network connection when i was hosting a local campaign and made realize how unsafe it is to play l4d2 atm without VPNs.

does having the archived version and the main version of ROS cause any issues? im having crashes on some maps but i want to keep this mod cuz its cool asf
