Bzzt, fzzt szzt? Boombox seems to keep playing radio sounds on the tile after i pick it up.
It seems like the boombox is somewhat bugged, after i placed it down and played a song then picked up boombox the static sound was stil playing and the <fzzt> keeps showing up. tested again on the tile next to it and sure enough the bug persists. tested undunscribing anr retarting server but static sound and text still shows up. Weird huh?

I think this is because the Boombox uses the Radio to create the UI for Cassettes

You can see this if you're in a car. Have the normal radio tuned into a radio channel like to Emergeny Broadcast. When the Car's Cassette player is on you'll get radio transmissions

@Quill Yes, but the sound (And on screen sound effects) are persisting even after i pick up the boombox. tried admin console and deleted the boombox but the white-noise and "Bzzt" is still playing on the location where i picked up the boombox. :(

it happened to me, i just walked away from the boombox for a little then came back to it with no radio static sounds or the ui saying "<fzzt>" i was in singleplayer tho

Right. tried that, it,s on my standalone server. I have backups so that fixes the problem, I can recreate the bug every time i place and turn on boombox then pick it up. At this point i just have to not do that. :P
suspecting a mod conflict, but have not tested it with only True Music installed tho.

having this issue too. Can recreate by playing your boom box and pick it up. Hopefully a fix can be made

Looks like a conflict of mods. I can't reproduce this error on my server.

Thought so. :) Will remove all mods and try to add one by one and see if i can figure out which mod causes the issue. also thought it could be the admin-free build mode

It looks like you are using a very old version of the mod. This error was fixed a long time ago.

I updated the version on the server and on the client, I put the tape to listen in the device and paused, the audio continues for my friends and not for me. If my friends pause the music continues for me, this happened after today's update.
