for example, here is a taunt I added
addTaunt("Bruit", {"prophunters/noise.wav"}, "props", nil, {"Noise"})
and the path to the file is [server file]\GarrysModDS\garrysmod\sound\prophunters\noise.wav
you can see that the path begin with the file inside sound, and not sound itself
Another way to check whether it's from the path or the file itself is to extract a tauntpack, put the files in your server and replace one sound with your taunt (rename your taunt with the name of the file you replace) and to play the taunt in game: if it play your cudtom taunt, the problem is with the path, if it remain silent, the problem is with the file
hope it helps :)
i have tried mp3 and wav files but nether worked or do i have to compress the files or something else?
