I remember in the game there was code for some sort of vortex grenade
would be able to suck up npcs, player, props, and destroy them
dunno if it was in the beta or not, but it was clearly cut content of some sort and I'd love it see it ingame again

Hi, i think there should be a way to add these weapons into the Default weapons list, meaning you can spawn NPC's and they will have randomized weapons with the beta weapons mixed into the spawn. For example when you spawn rebels some will have pistol, shotgun, sniper, etc etc randomly.

Is this possible?

i dont think its possible to make npcs spawn with random half life 2 beta weapons.
