Biotech gestator goes on standby while working
Hi. The large mech gestator goes on standby while a mech is being produced. Its nice for the free energy but not really balanced :D

This is already documented in the pinned Known Issues: Check Here First discussion.

I don't plan to buy Biotech (since I don't have much time to play the game these days), so unfortunately I won't have the means to investigate these issues myself.

It looks like it's drawing 50W in the screenshot; is that because you have the standby draw rate cranked up some? 50W seems like very little for that kind of building so I'd be surprised if that was the actual base power draw.

The modsettings are default i think. I made a imgur ablum with more screenshots cuz its really strange with the power usage.

Ahh, standby power is at 10% (default is 0%), so it would normally pull 500W, which sounds much better for that kind of building.

I don’t have the repo linked anywhere as-is, but you can find it here[github.com] if you were interested in helping out.
