Ok, because we're gonna come back to that in a bit. First thing you need to do is uninstall all mods, including configs, plates, all that. Go unsub from all of them.

Good deal. Next, make a folder on your desktop. Name it 'CMS 2021 profile backups' or whatever you prefer, then go here: C:\Users\(whatever your user name is)\AppData\LocalLow\Red Dot Games\Car Mechanic Simulator 2021\Save

Copy and paste the profiles in this folder into that desktop folder you created, because uninstalling the game will erase your profiles.

Just a file to copy/paste from one folder to the other. If you have multiple profiles you want to keep, copy/paste them all into the desktop folder.

Nope, all good. Double check your desktop folder and make sure they're in there.

If that's all good, and they are in that folder, uninstall the game through steam.
