Changelog
Basic changes
 Added third faction trait for playable factions
 Liberation option added to Hellenic factions
 Spies now male
 Increased the age that children become adults (historical)
 Enabled flood disaster event in WoS
 Added agricultural modifier along with the subsistence one to the seasonal effects
 Army and navy number per imperium level halved
 Lowered hidden income of all factions

Building changes (only greek for now)
 Fixed modifier bonus of olive settlement buildings from agriculture to commerce [ALL]
 Changed income of wine settlements of level 4 from 250 to 300
 Disease protection bonus by temple of Apollo, earthquake and flood protection by temple of Poseidon (check Athenian plague)
 Increased building cost of Theatres according to GC
 Renamed the athletic town centre buildings so that Palaestrae is the first level (Palaestra could exist without Gymnasion but no Gymnasion existed without Palaestra) [ALL]
 Added the wrestlers icon for Palestrae, Gymnasia and Stadia buildings (historical image from pottery) [WoS]
 Changed campign building model of Palestrae, Gymnasia and Stadia buildings to military buff model which actually looks like gymnasion
 Infantry stat buffs from stadia (temporary – may move to city pankration building)
 Cities and towns now cause squalor/unhappiness like in pre-EE Rome 2 (towns cause one fourth)
 Edited public order bonus from towns because of the above change (either made faction wide or removed)
 Added shipbuilding construction cost bonus to timber towns
 Added recruitment slot bonus from cities and level 3 and above towns
 Added siege holdout and less attrition bonus to level 2 cities and above
 New resources: copper, gold, pottery
 Added horse resource production from horse breeding settlements
 Acropolis building/wonder in Athens (finalize effects) with garrison
 Changed income type of agricultural buildings: from subsistence to farming/animal husbandry
 Fixed income modifier bonus and income type of Greek farming settlements: from subsistence to agriculture
 Fixed income type of olive settlements: from subsistence to agriculture manufacture
 “Stenochoria” mechanic: in order to represent various fertility levels in Greece, different agricultural chains can be constructed depending on the fertility of the location such as the plains of Thessaly (new superchain, new slot template) (tech, effects)
 Renamed the chains to Agriculture (Hills) and Agriculture (Plains)
 Changed the building instances to “rom_economic_secondary_food_”
 Fertile regions: Messenia, Argos, Olympia, Gortyn (Mesana plain), Lamia, Pharsala, Pherae, Korkyra, Oreoi, Karystos, Naxos, Paros, Olinthos, Mende, Krinides, Sestos, Perinthos, Kyzikos, Ilion, Smyrna, Ionia, Pronnoi, Zakynthos, Maronoi, Ainos… )
 Added protection against agent actions from temples
 Level 5 “Mega Zeus” renamed to Zeus Panhellenios, changed short description
 Commerce bonus of Poseidon temple changed to maritime commerce bonus
 Added replenishment and entertainment bonus to temple of Apollo, moved morale bonus to Athena and removed recruitment cost bonus
 New religious buildings: Temple of Ares, Demeter, Hermes
 New chain: pel_town_iron, replacing military buff chain availability
 Separated bronze workshop from iron chain/superchain (new superchain: ResourceCopper), corrected resource production, added shield bonus to level 1, fixed icons and descriptions
 New mining chain replacing existing mines on campaign map (tech)
 New effects: percentage modifier to produced metals/marble, slave population decrease (New building effect for slave decrease)
 Changed the building model of Megas Limen to an appropriate large port (large etruscan trading port model)
 Changed building model of horse settlement buildings for all cultures
 New buildings: Theatre of Dionysos (unique to Athens)
 Removed walls from Sparta in battle and on the campaign map by creating a new major settlement superchain for unwalled province capitals (used in Sparta, Elaia, Thermon)
 Hippodromes now require marble resource
 Added naval recruitment point bonus to shipbuilding ports

Unit changes
 Increased the scouting cabilities of Skiritai (historical scouts of the army)
 Replaced spartan youths garrison and recruitment with periokoi hoplites (added perioikoi in pel_periokoi garrison group)
 Added hoplite phalanx (after landing only) to all hoplite marines except phoenicians
 Fixed armour value of Cretan Archers [WoS]
 Most units now available from city and town
 Hoplites available from all city buildings and level 2 towns and above
 Hoplite Garrison to level 2 towns and above (level 4 receives 2 hoplite units)
 Additional Militia hoplite unit in level 3 and 4 town garrisons
 Increased garrison of cities depending on level
 New garrison group for light and heavy cavalry (used in horse breeder settlement)
 New military group (roster) for “northwest Greeks”, with light hoplites as their main infantry, Greek javelinmen, shielded slingers
 Light hoplites removed from southern Greek rosters except Corinth
 Spartan archer marines changed to “lacedaemonian”
 New spartan units: Perioikoi Marines (replaced recruitment and garrison of spartan marines and unit availability of Hippeus), Spartan women, Spartan Hippeis Hoplites
 Spartan hoplites renamed to Mora Lakedaimonion
 Royal Spartans renamed to “Mora Spartas”
 New units: Hippotoxotai (Athens unique, capped at 3)

Starting position changes
 Date changed to 427 BC
 Cleon of the populist party now faction leader of Athens and Perikles deceased (from the plague of 429 BC)
 Acropolis, Odeon and Amphorae maker (Kerameikos) buildings in Athenai
 Replaced amphora maker with historical coin mint in Abdera
 Removed the Acropolis effect bundle from Athens (redundant after Acropolis wonder-building)
 Iron resource in: Kythera (representing the iron mines in southern Laconia), Makedon, Anaktorio (attested in later roman sources)
 Replaced barracks of Thasos with mines (historical)
 Level 2 Farm in Pharsala, level 2 goats in Mantinea, level 1 farm in Argos
 New historical factions on the campaign map (Chalkidian League, Chaones, Chios, Lokroi Hesperioi, Lokroi Opountioi, Mantinea, Khios, Mytilene, Samos, Thesprotoi and others)
 New historical emergent and rebel factions (Akarnanes, Messenia)
 Renamed Epeiros to Molossoi and changed their capital to be Dodona
 Changed military generator configuration of Aitolians, Akarnanians and Hesperian Locrians to thracian, to increase missile unit recruitment

 Argos and Korkyra further developed with farm and temple
 New Cadmeia (acropolis of Thebes) wonder effect bundle in order to represent a few unique aspects of Thebes (food and cavalry recruitment cost bonus)
 New “Sanctuary of Artemis Orthia” wonder in Sparta, providing food and happiness
 Removed barracks from Elaea in Epeiros, replaced by consecrated grounds
 Athens not at war with barbarians but at war with Mytilene (date changed to 427 BC)
 Fixed Rhodos’ diplomatic treaties: neutral in the war, client state to Athens
 Fixed Byzantion’s diplomatic treaties: client state to Athens
 Athenai-Korkyra defensive instead of military alliance
 Korinthos-Melos trade agreement
 Fixed generals Andokides and Kaeredemos having a naval unit in the files (moved to Khios)

Faction changes
 Corrected number of gerontes in Sparta’s Gerousia to 28 [GC, WoS]
 Added 338 male and 75 female spartan names
 Created accurate family tree of the Herakleid kings of Sparta, leading all the way to Herakles (trait for Agesilaos: understands war, trait for Kyniska: admires charioteers)
 Alkamenos transformed into Agis, the Eurypontid king of Sparta since Arkhidamos is now deceased, given the faction leader office and now general of the starting army
 Eurypontids are now the playable political party of Sparta
 Removed all the rest political parties of Sparta except the royal families
 “Representing the diarchy: the two kings of Sparta” mechanic
 new diarchy government type unique to Sparta
 second king receives faction leader trait upon recruitment on campaign map
 Replaced helot wealth faction trait with laconic austerity for Sparta (value)
 Renamed title and trait “Eponymous Archon” to “Archon” (the E.A. did not lead armies), changed description and edited the effects (removed the global p.o. bonus, added construction cost bonus)
 Corrected the government type and leader title of all factions including civil war ones
 Thraike renamed to Apsinthioi
 Corrected number of citizens in Athen’s Ekklesia [WoS]
