It's been talked about for a while now, but PLEASE make some alternative recipes in the Kitchens to allow Algae meat for Burgers, Meat Soup, Steam and Mushrooms. With animal spawning from other mods not working properly the majority of the time, multiple people in the comments of this mod has asked for this. It has even been commented on by the mod dev that it would be added and yet it's not.
