I get lots of comments about the mod saying not compatible with 1.6.

There seems to be an issue with steam not updating this mod properly, it apparently happens to a couple other Rimworld mods too. The mod is updated, but steam won't download the latest version for some people.

I don't believe there is anything I can do on my end to fix this, but there are some things you can try.

The most reliable method seems to be this, with the game not open of course:

• Unsubscribe from the mod
  
• Delete the mod folder locally
  Mod directory is
  YourSteamInstall/steamapps/workshop/294100/2558042766/
  the whole folder should be deleted (2558042766)
  
• Resubscribe to the mod

It works for some people with just a Unsubscribe / Resubscribe, that's because usually unsubbing deletes the local folder (sometimes can be delayed).
Deleting the folder while being subscribed might also work as it should download missing files, but doing all the steps is likely more reliable.
