You should be able to select the type of stone you want it just defaults to granite.

rustic cooking station and masonry table. I right clicked and it only shows 1 recipe for granite. Is it a bug

it might only show that materials you currently have available in your base. sometimes stuff lying around outside doesnt count i think? it especially doesn't if someone is hauling or holding it.
