There is also a smaller 3x3x3 Small Fusion Reactor that fits in progression between the Advanced Generator and the Large Fusion Reactor.
The T2 and T3 Shield Capacitors and Chargers are smaller. Being reduced to 3x2x2 and 3x4x3.
The current weapons transfer over into objects the same size, but all of a cheaper lower tier. There are larger, higher-tier weapons added for late-game instead of relying on the same old models.
I actually had to design 2 versions of my light combat CV for RE1 cause of the power requirements, i had to make it bigger for the fusion reactor. The bigger one looks ok-ish, but the smaller one is definitely preferable. and this should mean all my other designs are at least salvageable.
great news, thank you.
what tends to burn me out on empyrion is having to redesign all my ships,
