It's a single player/coop DLC, so not really relevant to Reforged Eden which is also designed with multiplayer in mind.

With all due respect.... It doesn't matter if it was designed for single player Ravien. You and Vermillion (of all people) should have received advanced copies of this so y'all can decide if you want to work aspects of it into Reforged Eden or not. Y'all are 100% literally carrying this game. It would have died long ago without you two.

Eleon needs to understand that people buy their game..so they can play Reforged Eden and moving forward they should conduct their business with the Reforged Eden mod in mind. It just makes good business sense and creates a richer player experience.

Got confirmation from a dev how the DLC will work and that it's intended for SP and coop play and won't affect the rest of the game, so it's just that the DLC is meant to be its own self contained thing and not really meant to be something people start using in scenarios.
RE is free, and I don't want to make people have to purchase something in order to keep playing it.

I guess a question is do you have access to alter the Unity assets yourself, like purchasing assets if you wanted them and adding them to RE? I think it might be time to further "divorce" the Empy experience in RE from Vanilla.

Vermilion and I already owned several of the asset packs used in the game from the Unity store. Not because we're trying to copy the game but because those packs happened to be a good deal and have models we could use.

But we can't add game mechanics or scripts, so if a DLC item does something new you probably will need the DLC to use it in a scenario.

You are right! Your "RE" is better that any DLC from Eleon. You force them to compete with you and that makes me happy. They learned that mere gnats and butterflies don't add content - finally. That's a good start... ;)
