There is no single main difference. The closest are real world physics, a vastly expanded and superior Galaxy, and 'proper' CPU usage (blocks don't use cpu, only systems do).

It's the same physics, but blocks, devices, thrusters have better balanced stats.

and you can actually hit stuff with hand held weapons with the hitboxes in RE over vanilla haha
