as written in the addon's description, if they don't have holster animations in the first place, it works but they'll holster instantly. this is something that could be solved with a mod that adds them but i don't know of any sadly

After dropping a weapon with Drop Weapon the next weapon I switch to is invisible.

in that case you may be changing to the holster automatically, which i think is fine actually. thank you for this feature report.

I was playing around with some ArcCW weapons and now whenever I holster one of the weapons, I can't move and any movement I try to do outside of noclipping just triggers some viewpunches.

Never mind, it was a conflicting feature from another addon.

One of the options in this mod is called "Equipment Weight" and when toggled, it removes the ability to move when a player's carrying too much stuff. With that toggled on and with Simple Holsters enabled, it causing a lot of viewpunches when trying to move.

oh I can see why lol. yeah just don't use equipment weight, it's a bit scuffed of a feature with it

Yeah, I toggled it off the moment I found out that was what's causing it.
