As well as recently I tried it again solo, like the units let say infantry will spawn together like in one group all together and I can't right click move them. However when I direct control each soldier away from the combine blob individually they will move. However when I leave direct control they don't respond to right click move.

Sounds like you did not clear cache by game restarting after mod acivated and applyed.
