Hello Sebidee!

Well, I’m writing you because I’m having some trouble modding, and I saw that you solved the same problem I have really nicely in ROME 2 Total War…

The thing is… I’m new to modding, and I’m trying to combine these Archer & Mêlée units to make some sort of versatile troops. I’m using Pack File Manager, and I’ve done quite well. My archers have shields on their backs and shoot and fight in mêlée quite decently… However, I can’t figure it out how to show the shields as the troops are fighting in mêlée; they just disappear when I select the mêlée mode!

I saw that you did an awesome job in your “Parthian Roster Expansion” mod! The “Takabara Infantry” in particular, they get the Mêlée-Projectile switch really nicely! Mind telling me how the hell you got to do that?

I hope you don’t mind sharing your magic with me… I swear I’m not copping your work or anything… I just want to make my own custom army, so to say; I don’t even think I’ll upload it after I’m done!

I would honestly feel immensely grateful if you could give me a hand with this!
