we'll look, a little more detail would be nice.
Issue/Concern reported by clivers 14 hours ago
Big tanks get stuck near spawn point. Vegetation needs to be adjusted.
Thank you for finding and posting the issue, appreciate it. Please if you find any other issue or concern, let us know and provide as much detail as possible so that we can more quickly address the problem.
Thanks!
We feel it important that we point out that this is a COH1-COH2 conversion; as such we attempted to keep this version as close as possible to the look and feel of the original.
Furthermore, we disagree and do not see it as imbalanced. Each side has its advantages and disadvantages.... for example 1-4 have capture points immediately next to their bases and of course 2 islands (one of which can be eaisly held (one of the 3 crossings) the other 2 crossings (leading directly to center island) are no real advantage as 5-8 can eaisly rush to capture/hold. We have been successful playing in both directions and actually found it harder to play from the 1-4 side (which has the 3 crossings to the center island and the added benefit of capture points on their land)...essentially 5-8, by having fewer choices becomes much eaiser as you can feint towards one crossing while sneaking across the other rather than be forced to cover 3.
Also, it must be noted the COH1 map maker (download link in description) did an amazing job capturing the look and feel of the actual location 'Schweinfurt' in Bavaria
....search for it on your favorite atlas site, you can see exactly where this map is supposed to be located.
Regardless, thank you for posting your concern. Everyone's input is much appreciated as it will get reflected on future maps, if not changed on this one.
