Its probably just me, but...
I can't look around, wweapons don't seem to spawn, I can only ever see the first cutscene no matter what I do.

Try disabling addons, because some of them can (and will) conflict with mouse cursor and stuff.

Just disable all your addons, then find Slave of Gmod and enable that one.

That has been happening to me too...
Are you using Linux? I am, ad that may or may not be the problem.

I disabled all my addons except gmod slave, and this time went through the main menu of gmod slave 'n stuff correctly. I still cannot move my mouse. I can when I pause the game, though. I will just assume for now that gmod is keeping the mouse in the middle like it usually does when you are playing the game normally.

How would I go about freeing my mouse without the context menu? (It's disabled in gmod slave probably)

hmmmm . . . maybe gui.EnableScreenClicker( boolean enabled ) doesn't work so well on linux

I ran this on windows, and surprise, surprise, it works.
