The mod was just updated to the last version of HOI4. There is no such bug as "loading a save with mission in progress". It works perfectly fine. My guess is that whenever the base game has an update, is breaks saves, but that's all.

When I last played, it was very much an issue. I saved the game and quit while all 3 missions were still in progress. When I reloaded the game the next day, all my missions were stuck on "in progress" permanently.
