And the whitelist server is 218.183.156.109
I failed to get to GODHOME mainframe after cracking all the nodes, and the game bluescreened me and loads back up (incorrectly?). I'm just seeing a unthemed windows terminal with no map, viewer or programme memory (i.e. where all the script animations appear).
I think I need to reset some game files to recover the gamestate? Any ideas?
I did figure this out. If you have the same and want some hints:
minor hint: just type "reboot" into the console and read the error on startup
heavyhanded hint if the above didn't help: your x-server file in sys is missing (because godhome deleted it) so you need to get it back. You can either rename one of your other x-server files to x-server.sys or, if that's not an option, steal it back by finding the connecting ip in your logs.
I'm not entirely sure what I did wrong, and I'm not sure how to recover and get back to the state right before I kicked it off. I can launch the sequencer again and go through the motions, and this time I was able to get into the mainframe, but I'm not sure what the game wants me to do. Deleting everything didn't do it, and I lost my ability to click partway through. Other times, I'd lose my ability to type.
pre-send edit: Okay, so as it turns out, all you need to do to trigger the denouement is delete that one particular file, not everything. And you can do so from the weird null state after getting owned.
Also in the Okami server, everyone's chat lines were doubled. It was weird, to say the least.
Overall: Very fun little romp, felt a lot like playing Hacknet again -- which is exactly what I was looking for after having been away from the game for some time.
Looking forward to what you put out next!
