Pliers Mod Crash/Fixed Thread
*Declutter of Discussions* Will be used to merge completed/fixed crash reporting of discussions. This thread will be locked. can review for common ways we have fixed/resolved previous crash reports from gamers. Common way we have fixed these have been simply by following instructions listed in description of mod.

"Don`t forget to turn off (unsubscribe/remove) original mod! (steamapps\workshop\content\457140\1848884654)

Before reporting issues please check mod version at Change Notes tab.
To force mod update try:

(FYI
'457140' = Steams way of identifying ONI in it's catalog of games.
'2479475997' = Steams unique mod identifier number for Pliers fixed)

1. Unsubscribe from mod on steam.
2. Close steam
3. Remove ~\steamapps\workshop\content\457140\2479475997 in file explorer (make sure ~\457140\1848884654 not listed, if is, delete also).
4. Relaunch ONI (so it loads game WITHOUT the mod)
5. Quit ONI.
6, Resubscribe to mod on steam.
7. Relaunch ONI.

If above doesn't work:
1. Remove whole \steamapps\workshop\content\457140 folder.
2, Remove \steamapps\workshop\appworkshop_457140.acf
3. Verify integrity of game files.
4. Relaunch game.

If above doesn't help:
1. Remove Documents\Klei\OxygenNotIncluded\mods\Steam folder.
2. Reinstall the game."

The above will always be asked before further troubleshooting with you. So please do for faster resolution. If doesn't resolve, Start a New Discussion ->

Include log for PT to review in your new discussion.

Game Crashing on re-load, finds this mod to be at fault.
This mod occasionally crashes immediately upon loading a save file. Most often when re-loading a save file, or loading a save file when already playing another one.

I do have the pliers tool bound to the "q" key, and the logs near the end of player.log seem to point to that being a redundantly defined key, I'm just not sure what else uses that key because it doesn't do anything when it game when it isn't bound to pliers.

Getting same crash when trying to load after saving game. It also crashed my game when i tried to start a new colony.

just a crash report
game crashed and i got this report caused by pliers fixed (only mod i have installed).

was not even using the tool at the moment of the crash

He is talking about how ONI upgraded to Harmony 2, which broke all of the mods.

The mod needs to be updated to Harmony 2. No amount of force updates will fix this one.

I tried that. Still not working. I don't remember changing any hot keys. I've also re-verified game files as an attempt. I'm sure it will just take time for the mod developers to adjust. Thanks for the reply.

catch same error when use Blueprints fixed with Fast Save mod. But with recompiled Fast Save mod (by myself) error was gone.
