A version without pillars for short spans would make us all happy
There are situations where only a short span over a road is needed - coming from an embankment - but this damn (vanilla) bridge still creates pillars next to the ends - not AT the ends - of that short bridge.
If you could add a version of your fixed bridge without pillars that would be great.

If you also add the pillars as snappable assets that would be a bonus, but it's not necessary.

I just fiddled my own mod, a merge of this mod with that mod:

So now I got the better iron bridge with and without pillars and also the pillarless versions of the vanilla concrete and stone bridges.
