The soldier at the end is not Clarke. The red eyes are more like a metaphorical way of indicating the degree of evil and indifference towards human life on the part of the exterminating forces. Super soldiers trained physically and psychologically to face the greatest horrors that humanity will never know and to kill without any kind of mercy or morals. That was more or less the idea.

The reason I am not planning to do another campaign "soon" is simply because of the time it takes (500hs only for the third chapter). But as I said before, maybe one day I will continue to complete the story in the form of simple scenarios. Therefore, I do not want to say anything else in order not to ruin a possible future scenario.

Finding a more or less decent ending was the hardest part of the whole campaign, so I'm glad you liked it!

Ah nice, nice. Yeah, the three campaigns were very well scripted and the nice little touches like the guy who asks you for ear medicine from the first chapter committing suicide in the cinematic, and the little touches you put in. Aside from the technical difficulties with the third chapter, it's been a very smooth and good experience. I can definitely see where you put all that care and time into it to make it as immersive and 'tight' as possible. I do hope we see more in the vein of this campaign, even if we play as someone other than Clarke. I admit I kind of like the more... ambiguous ending, where you can interpret the final sprinting sequence as him turning and chasing down the Doc to eat him. Maybe some form of spinoff as Benjamin or one of Miller's lads? Who knows. Either way, good stuff mate. It's rare to find such tightly-scripted and engaging stuff in the A3 Workshop nowadays, well done.

After playing all three campaigns in order, I agree with Akula. With those few minor exceptions (sniper catwalk, super fast zombie in the office), the campaigns are very impressive, creatively and technically. I interpreted the end to be exactly that - Clarke changing gradually without realizing it in the end, as he runs with/after the scientist. From a technical standpoint, that was executed brilliantly. I might just add one nitpick - personally, I was not a fan of the "red eye soldier" story. For me, it was enough with the "horrible science experiment/failure", and the General's cleanup operation. Lots of lose ends and things to add to those elements. The mystery of the red eye guys is nice, of course, since it is your own story. But compared to the rest of the campaigns, it felt a little out of place for me. Same would go for Miller - he's a great lad, but you could see the betrayal from a mile away. It would not be the same with an original character.

If you mean the room where one lunges around the corner at you after the large room with the eery picture, you're likely dying there because you're too far forward. I remember being a bit stuck on that myself, you have to immediately begin backtracking and make sure you hit the thing as quick as possible or it'll kill you. Admittedly it's been over a year since I played but I remember that one scene in particular catching me off-guard and having me 'stuck' for a few minutes

I legit even made it past behind the chained door and it would still kill me. I'm rocking the NATO LMG, forgot it's name but it's the one that's also in MTP camo. Hit it like 20 times and still get's me. Will try again today as I really want to see what happens next.

One of my most likely one was that the research into the zombies went so far that they were able to modify the body into being able to withstand the infection and bites.

I managed to finish it eventually, I assume it was due to a trigger getting Arma'd.
