y e ourple? (NOT A JOKE DISCUSSION DESPITE TITLE)
What do I need to do to make these models stop being purple? I asked in the comments but didn't get an answer.

After checking the console, I found the following message.

Warning! Encountered old format VTF file; please rebuild it!
Error reading material data "materials/models/metal_gear_solid_3/common/skin_lightwarp.vtf"

Error reading material data "materials/models/metal_gear_solid_2/common/skin_lightwarp.vtf"

This has something to do with it, but I still can't make up or down about how to fix it. Any ideas?

Unfortunately I'm pretty incompetent when it comes to file stuff, so I'm just gonna have to hope another person stumbles across this discussion who can help us both out. :/

I'm not tech savvy enough to try and fix the models myself, so all we can do is just hope and pray that the creator of the mod sees this and gets to work.

A fix that helped my friend was making sure the texture detail setting under advanced is on high or very high

Might have to try that out. See if it works.
