Me too. One of my maps received almost 60 ''rating down'' for 1 hour. The same amount added to your favorites. I thought it was very strange. I published a map again.Got this comment. They do not subscribe to your maps. These people put ''rating down'', to remove the map from the first page workshop. Lately a lot of maps goes down from the first page.

My map had until then ... 25 thumbs up to 100%. It's
sad and unfair. Fortunately, the map slowly rising
again.

Yeah have you noticed that almost all were hammer made maps

steam must have some anti hammer people or something

It even looks like Tmast98 had this happen on his new map Retribution because his maps usually are at the top of the workshop in hours now it took almost a week just for him to get on the front page

I think it's just a bunch of brats who knoweth nothing. Gloating brats have fun.

Right now my map Portal Unto Dawn 3 has 49 positive ratings and 45 negative and it is my best hammer map I have made yet and has 3 stars

mean while part 1 has five stars and about 500 likes 100 not

that just does not happen someone is out to get rid of hammer users or something

mine had 20-12 then it went to like 21-35

I'm already doing just easy maps, but I try to always do something new or interesting. It attracts more players. A more players it finished playing. Just to be on the first page of custom visuals.

most of the people that I have seen in the workshop had positive ratings but I dont think any of these new people on the workshop want to admit that they have bee downrating

I dont even think they relize that we can see how many ratings are up and down they just want chaos

Either way, just appreciate your map. In the end, ratings will stay up because it's a cool concept. If you take my suggestion, you might have yet another map with an eventual rating of 4 stars, more or less.

Just look at the most popular maps in workshop and you will understand what a mess this part of the Portal community is.
Disregard totally the rating of any map here. Finding hidden gems is a pain...
