The same thing happened to me too. Chances are, you renamed the wrong exe file. But don't worry, it's a quick fix; go to library and right-click Goat Simulator, and go to properties. From there, go to local files, and verify integrity. It should fix it back to default.

The file I changed by mistake was the Config.exe file. DO NOT CHANGE THAT ONE! The exe they're talking about is the GoatGame application file. It's the one with the picture of the goat, it's about 40-ish MBs.

didnt work

It stopped the crashing, but whenever I try loading the Shrek mod, there is no model of shrek. when I move it makes a weird sound and the screen turns black. Why does this amazing addon cause so many problems?

Got it to work. Used method 2. But i had to open the GoatGame.exe in the Win64 folder.
Else if i tried opening it with the downloaded exe i get "MSVCR120D.dll is missing"
Also if you ever get clipped into yourself just go ragdoll, and that should fix you.
(You don't even need to download the exe really.)
