(OBSOLETE METHOD, DON'T USE)
Go to his Github, go to the commits section and look for the one that says March 13, 2022, click, "Try and fix old addons" go to Browse Files, after that click Code, and download the ZIP file. For some reason, this one actually managed to FIX several issues I've had with 2.53, it brought back the footsteps in the snow, which was broken in the workshop version, the magically disappearing fog whenever you enter a vehicle doesn't happen anymore(You gotta disable a certain setting in this version to make it happen, which didn't work in the 2.53 workshop one) I've notice a bit of an FPS improvement on my end when i used this version, I'm not sure it'll work with you guys, but please try it and see if anything changes!

Bro... It's not that hard... Click Try and fix old add on's as I said above... Click browse files, I should've clarified more, go to Code after you clicked browse files... And when you expand it, should have download ZIP.:cozyroe3:

All you do is put it in your Gmod folder where your add-on's are located... D:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\GarrysMod\garrysmod and put it in the "addon's" folder. Depends what harddrive you installed it on, but yeah, it's as simple as that.

Can you not read at all? I said certain features have been BROKEN with the 2.53 version on the workshop, NOT the add-on. :steamfacepalm:

Footprints in the snow not appearing, the fog disappears when you enter a vehicle, sometimes rain would disappear when you enter a building, and when you go back outside a building it'll show up again, also a slight FPS boost as well with the Github version I mentioned fixes most problems 2.53 update ruined.

Lots of users are reporting 2.53 is just broken for them, features not working, or just crashes their game, it's odd really it works for you.

Okay guys, this thread is now outdated, Stormfox 2 seems to work again, even better than this outdated version, don't use this one anymore!
