This error occurs if maps have a cooldown.
It would be helpful but not necessary if you would provide a video showing the bug.

However the gamemode doesn't matter this bug shows up somewhat randomly and I think its triggered by changing the resolution of the game window or whether is fullscreen or run in a window.

Having it enabled with mapvote causes that issue.
Ill look for a workaround.

The mapvote screen is completely blank
Having trouble triggering a mapvote/gamemode vote manually while playing EFT, spits out the following error:

EFT also seems to be ignoring the gamemodes.json file at the end of a match as it will show more gamemodes as available even when their map options are set to "nil"
