Was planning to get around to those, first major city / government thing I've done so far is the Kremlin

Not sure if you can add it in after the game starts, but maybe replace the Reichstag with the Volkshalle after Germany finishes the "Improve National Spirit" focus

I would have loved to do this but sadly the commands from EU4 like show_ambient_object and hide_ambient_object don't seem to work. It seems to be that I can't modify ambient objects after the game has loaded, I can only load them in beforehand.

the eiffel tower looks a bit to tall, if you had an other building in france may this be Versailles in the city tile next to Paris

A cool (don't know if doable) project would be the Great Wall of China. It'll look awesome stretching through several tiles.

A neat detail I liked in many other PDX games, nice to see someone making a mod for it.
So, here's a few ideas from me:

Soviet Union: The Hermitage, Kiev Pechersk Lavra, Potemkin Stairs, The Swallow's Nest Castle

Poland: Zamek Krolewski

Romania: Akkerman Fortress, Bran Castle

UK: The Stonehenge, The Sphinx

Japan: The Himeji Castle

Mexico: Chichen Itza

Chile: The Moai

Hungary: Országház

Poland: Zamek Krolewski

Since you added Volkshalle, I think you should also consider adding some post WW2 landmarks.

Like The Motherland Calls in Stalingrad, the Alyosha Memorial for communist Bulgaria, etc

could certain ones be replaced after tiles get nuked

Greece: Parthenon

A good one could be the Sydney Opera house for Australia.
