Keep Crashing after I collect the shotgun and while encountering the 2 head crab zumbies.
Using the Valve Index with a 5800X and a RTX 3080 with 461.92 drivers. I have lowered the frame rate to 80 and reduced the resolution but continue to crash. Any suggestions?

It could be a problem with the first map, since it is the oldest and most unstable? You could try starting the game from the second chapter, and the game will give you some ammo, and the shotgun. Also I hear changing the rendering api to Vulkan on the options may help with crashes.

I had tried starting from the second map before you told me to and it was crashing from the very beginning. I went back and disabled all loaded mods leaving only the fist mod loaded. it worked. I then went back and activated 1 through 8 and continued the campaign. it has not crashed again, even with running at optimized video settings.

My game keeps crashing on the first map at random times. mostly after entering the first room.

Hello,

I have same problem with crashes. Everything worked fine until I found a shotgun. After that game crashes randomly. When I try to start another chapter same situations - random crashes. Oculus Quest 2 Radeon 5600 XT and Ryzen 3600
