Does it just not work right now?
I just subscribed but final smashes just are not there.

Mine is worked, go to pinned discussion "Character Compability" to see what's character that can be used with this mod. In case you don't know how to do final smash, it simply press Special button once when the final smash is ready.

Not even the vanilla characters have a smash meter for me

it doesnt work for me fsr (for some reason) the final smash bar doesnt appear for spamton or papyrus

Final smashes for characters that don't have it compatible give you a fake smash ball, double pressing neutral special makes it explode and it'll damage opponents. You can tell right away by which line on the smash ball is the thick one; vertical if its real, horizontal if its fake.
