There was a static TNT block released in the last update! If you are referring to place-able TNT blocks that would operate like an explosive satchel, you will need to wait and see!

Pre-built structures and doors are planned, I am still undecided on how to approach these though.

You can get the damage of the "block" then assign a new texture based on damage or you could even create a hiddenSelection for different damage variants.
