The moment you select any skill on this Refactor, you Leper will become permanently infected with Leprosy (Act 1). This disease gives Leper back his Move/Stun/Debuff resistances, and a chance to proc a Riposte when taking a hit. Its divided on 3 Acts, with 2 endgame evolutions. If Act 3 its not properly evolved, this will result on Lepers death.

The disease changes how Leper interacts with certain items. Giving him "The Blood" will make it evolve faster, while certain items like "The Cure" will slow its evolution. Leper also will unleash his poetic side with more intensity with each disease Act, translated into act-outs with lots of positive or negative effects.

Using Holy Water on any stage disables the death by disease evolution for 7 rounds. Have in mind, Leper can only die from Leprosy at Act 3. Leper can only die by Act 3 while he is on combat.

When Leper dies in combat, he buffs you allies and, if you dont quit that battle, at the end of it you will be rewarded with an unique secret item, Blood of the King.

Leprosy can evolve in 2 ways: Feeding Leper with "Blood of the King" (this one works with any stage) will evolve Leprosy to Act 4, a powerful non-lethal variant of the Disease. On the other hand, using Shard Dust on Act 3 will evolve it to Refracted Leprosy, a bizarre variant that completly changes his playstyle.
