One other bug I've found is that it's possible that, if you get an archaeology-based precursor (Zroni or Baol) for a colony to spawn on one of those planets, excavate the site, and just completely lock you out of the precursor chain because you can't complete it yourself now. I'm not sure if those planets get a special flag on them or anything but it'd be nice to find a way to keep that from happening... Don't like being robbed of my precursor relic/system. :c
Also, this is more a suggestion than anything: I'd like to see an option to limit where colonies can form, ie, distance-wise. It feels a bit strange having them show up on the complete other side of the galaxy... Perhaps a setting to limit how many jumps from your borders they're allowed to take. (Maybe they'll only warp across the map if you had Wormhole Stabilization or Gateways at the time of their departure. On that note, it might be cool to add a little integration with the Galactic Doorstep origin lol.)
@ComradeOnion - Thanks ill check that out, i did whip up the CBs at the last minute so not suprised theres issues
@Martisia - Yeah I think ill need to remake create_country stuff to make them more compatible with new ethics and cicivcs mods. What i believe is happening is that some civics lock out ethics/auths, and if it selects such a civic it deletes ethics/auths which is annoying
Deletes some comments to cleanup thread, but worry not they're being addressed!
I'm getting lots of error messages in my error.log:

And after a while my game decided to crash. This was with the Barren Galaxy setting (if it makes any difference).
I had one rogue colony appear, Crusader states. I also reloaded the save I made just when they popped up and tried to play as the colony. Then I noticed that the colony isn't even of my race, but some other random race.
