Step 1 Find the Save file located in C:\Users\UserName\AppData\LocalLow\Ludeon Studios\RimWorld by Ludeon Studios\Saves

Step 2 Open file in a text editor such as Notepad++, VS code, or even Windows basic Notepad will work.
*note: if using a save file compressor mod, you will need to decompress first.

Step 3 Ctrl-F for find. Search file for "drugPolicyDatabase".

Scroll 4 Scroll down to <label>Social drugs</label> (or if you made a custom policy, look for the name of that policy.)

Step 5 Scroll down until you find the "VBY_" policies.

Step 6 Replace the <allowedForAddiction>True</allowedForAddiction> with
<allowScheduled>True</allowScheduled>
<daysFrequency>120</daysFrequency>

Step 7 Save the file.

Step 8 Restart game.
