Sometimes savegames get lost
I am playing with a friend alot and we often have to stop midway in a run and will continue the next day. But sometimes the save is missing. This is very annoying and will make us stop playing this game, when you randomly loose your progress. Is this a known issue and is there any way to prevent this? Thanks for the help.

just here to say that its been over a year and this issue is still around with no clear cause

this really needs to be fixed, a user interface update would also be nice too

update: i think i figured it out



okay so, changing your mod list at all will result in the save being inaccessible until you change the mod configuration back to what it was when the save was created

also, generally a good practice to back up your saves by copying them from the mod folder directly and storing them somewhere

(still, the save system could use some work, its a bit jank)
