*Post suggestions, ideas, etc. here*
Another bucket thread that I can keep an eye on where you can put any suggestions or ideas for content additions or changes. Thanks :)

Alright, you asked for feed back. While I realize that the main quest is currently under construction, and I'm okay with that. However, I have a couple of issues with Yilsa's quest. First, could you please make a quest marker for this subquest? I'm running around in circles and it's driving me insane. Second, I found and activated the stone button in the sun lit cave, but I can't figure out what door or wall it opens. I do not mean to sound ungrateful for the time and hard work you've put into this mod, but I'm so frustrated that I'm at the point where I just want to unsubscribe and be done with it

I can appreciate your frustration and it certainly wasn't my intention to make it so difficult that it got to that point. It is really hard to find the balance between constant hand-outs and spoon-feeding that a lot of the quests do in Skyrim, and having the quest be next to impossible.

Part of the problem, though, as you are seeing, is that I actually did put markers in the mod. For whatever reason, presumably the general bugginess of quest creation in CK and the buginess of Skyrim in general, Quest markers just don't seem to work all the time. Some people see them perfectly fine, others don't. I have two "hidden" side quests that deliberately don't use markers because they are meant to be a bit more of a challenge, but you'll encounter the items and locations you need -- for the most part -- just from general exploration.

As far as Yllsa's quest, I'm guessing you didn't check out the spoilers thread. I give a complete walkthru for all quests there, if you scroll thru the thread and hover over the blocked-out spoiler text.

Also, another thing to keep in mind is that, much to my frustration as a story-teller and mod creator, the local map gives away everything. You'll notice that there are places that show up on the map that you can't seem to reach even though you are stading right in front of them. Because of that "feature", your search parameters are narrowed down considerably. There are many walls that, granted, "look" like secret doors, but check your map: I am unable to hide the presence of hidden locations from the local map, so you know immediately whether that particular spot is worth noting. A word of caution though: the mini-map does not account for the "z axis" ;)

So take a look at all that, read the spoiler if you want, and get back with me if you are still stuck. You are correct: I've asked for feedback, and, for as many people as have subscribed I've gotten very little, so I don't have a whole to base any potential tweaks or other changes on :/

**edit: btw, don't be offended that I deleted your comment on the main page; i saw that you cross-posted here, and the forums are a bit more approriate (and organized) for your feedback. It seems like you tried avoiding major spoilers, but it felt like a bit much to give away on the front page. Thanks, though, for your feedback :)

Okay, I went back in to mod, and using the console command for no clip, I was able to view your entire build from above; every part of it, and The Pit of Yngradinir is nowhere to be found. If it's a glitch with my specific download, would it be solved by unsubscibing and resubscibing to trigger a new download?

'm not sure. did you read the spoiler section on yllsa's quest? the pit is pretty unmistakable. it's a huge shaft with water at the bottom. also, you have to be careful with no-clipping because surfaces get really wonky. there are surfaces that, defending on your angle, can block your view entirely or be completely transparent. whole rooms can be invisible in fact.

just check the spoiler and make sure you don't leave the catacombs area in part 2.

I've been in that shaft several times and there's nothing there but water.

Oh, by the way, yes I did read the spoilers. That's how I knew where to find the button in the sun lit cave. Wait a minute: Is that what the button activates? Something in the water shaft?

Please disreguard my previous trassmission. While I have been in the water pit several times, I guess it just never dawned on me to go scuba diving. I have the stone and the other six items (yes, that 'mysterious cave' filled with Falmer was quite the ingenious idea). I told Yisilda that I decided to keep the stone, and she was quite displeased. She's in heaven now. So I guess I'm just waiting for construction of the main quest to be completed. You are a very good mod maker. All I can do with the creation kit is make my own weapons and armor, which by the way, are awesome, and now I no longer 'need' to go all god mode. Because my armor is as close to god mode as you can get.

In lieu of me deleting it, would you mind editing your post to filter out the spoilers? :) I'd rather keep those kind of details to the walkthrus.

Thanks for the compliments, and hopefully you gave the mod a "thumbs up". If you have a nexusmods.com account, an endorsement there would be helpful and appreciated as well :)

the last part is barely underway, but i hope to find some time to dedicate to it to bang it out and finish everything off. i can say that i don't expect it to be as big since it essentially will be (as far as i know, i haven't hashed out all the details yet) a straight shot to the final encounter to finish off the main quest.

I'm not sure how the filter works, you are the first person on steam that I have contacted. In fact I created my profile specifically to be able to talk to you. So if you need to delete the discussion thread because I've revealed quest objectives, I'm okay with that. When you're finished with Graven Deep, I have a suggestion for your next mod. Create a Nordic Tomb; call it what ever you want, and have a set of books set along the way describing an anient order called "The Priory of Talos". The quest can be to defeat four or five dragon priests, these priests remained behind to protect the aromor and weapons of Talos. The Grey Beards are the last five remaining members of The Priory of Talos. Just a thought....Mike.

Do you have an account on nexusmods? you can pm me over there. in fact, isn't that how you found the mod if you didn't have an account here? i can't remember what i wrote in the description over there to make you think you had to come there, but i monitor both pages and am active on that site as well.

No, I do not have an account on nesus. I found your mod on the steam network. When click on steam to play skyrim, I have an option to brows the community, there I can download fan created mods. I can also filter out which mods I'm looking for; for instance, quests, dungeons, dragons, armor, weapons...ect. Believe it or not I've got over 300 hours played and I'm at level 57; and this is my second time through skyrim. I've only recently began downloading mods: Twenty five so far. And I've only been playing around with the creation kit for about two weeks. I'm not computer savvy and I was hesitant to download mods because I thought I would screw something up and completely crash skyrim. But I took a chance, and now I look for new mods about once a week. I've also noticed that some of the mods I've downloaded have been updated by the authors. For instance Mordains Mine, that guy needes some serious psychological counciling.....Mike
