Campagin Freeze - how to solve?
I really like this mod! However, the constant freezing and reloading, trying do do something different so i wont freeze is getting a pain in the ass, i dont mind the occasional freeze but every 15 - 20 turns is getting annoying.
Most of the time i have to start over..

Ayhow, i checked if it was the same faction everytime, 90% if the time it were the ''dark forces'' (angmar, and two other ones i think).

Tried a lot of different things to stop te freezing, nothing worked, what (so far) did work was put everything on ultra, no freeze so far (butim just at turn 35 so meh) it did crash turn 36, but hey who knows perhaps this works haha?

Any tips?

same here when i play as gondor it freeze at the end turn and lands on the goblin but only gondor arnor is fine but has a lot of battle lag and the dwarfs are as well it only stared doing it after i got the dlcs for attila

The game-crashing end-of-turn bug is really frustrating. Whenever a reboot is required, the mod is currently unusable as these locks are unacceptable

I have the same problem, it freezes and then there's nothing i can do to change it, it would be nice to be fixed otherwise it will not be palyable nor enjoyable.

Good evening

I just wanted to tell you that the mod to play the Campania *Crash* game freezes and comes a blackscrem only helps restart. :steamsad:

campaign freezes and goes black screen , hard resetting the pc seems the only way out ... hope they find a way to fix this quick

same here,playing as rohan (edoras) ,cant remember how they actually call,anyway game freeze at the end of the 17 turn always on goblin and i cant proced ,reloading didnt work for me,just cant proced ,its really annoying especially as i bought longbeards pack just to be able to play as rohan,i really hope they ll do something about this, great mod beside that :steamthumbsup:

Guys I found the problem, just download RPFM then open the war of the ring mod. Then go to text folder then db then ang_factions.loc and change the names of the factions that is similar to each other then save it. That's why the crash is so random because the name of the rebel factions is the same, so everytime there's a new rebel with the same name it crashes. I've spent 5 hrs just to identify the problem. Hope this will help you

Update, I'm already at turn 108 no crashes. Btw if someone wants the copy just let me know, I've fixed some garrison bugs too. Specially in Mirkwood elves just having 2 garrison in Tier 3 Minor Settlements.

Unfortunately, I'm playing other mods now but it will work just double check the faction names in that location. Try to filter it using the filter of RPFM - type Necromancer if there is 1 or more tables that have Necromancer there then you found the problem.

Note: Every table from that ang_factions.loc should have different names or else you will still have a problem. In my case I just add "s" on every factions that have the same name. Another thing is as far as I remember 1 faction have 3 kinds of rebels so you need to edit every one of them. But it doesnt matter because once you fight the orcs you will have battle freeze. I tried to fix that too but I cannot found the problem causing that one

My question here is (newcomer btw) : my mod manager has : rise of mordor war of the ring campaign load first, then rise of mordor sub mod unit expansion and then 4x packs for rise of mordor packs and nothing else.... and my game is stuck on loading screen (the one that preceeds main menu of the game). and it's not responding. What am I doing wrong here?
