Tutorial - Removing Orchestral Horse Lords
UPDATE: With the addition of the music player in the free Basileus update, these steps are no longer necessary and this mod is now obsolete. Please instead use the main version of this mod where you can now simply disable Orchestral House Lords (and all other undesired DLCs) in the music player.

For those who wish to remove the tracks from the Orchestral Horse Lords DLC, simply follow the steps posted below:

  • Locate the files for this mod within your Steam Workshop folder (Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\1158310\2362491960 by default).

  • Find the file named zz_ck2_music.txt in the mod's music folder (it should be the last file listed if sorted alphabetically) and open it with any text editor, Notepad will work fine. If you're not confident in your editing skills, I'd recommend making a backup somewhere on your computer which you can use in the event things go wrong!

  • Go to the very bottom of the file and delete everything posted underneath the #### ORCHESTRAL HORSE LORDS #### divider. The music files themselves will remain but, since you've told the game to ignore them, this won't matter.

  • Once you've saved and exited, that should be it!

Note that you will need to redo this whenever (if ever) this mod is updated.

The above steps can also be used to remove any other undesirable DLC(s) from this compilation.
